This is the statement of Bible doctrine as believed and taught by the Believers’ in GOSPEL EMBASSY CHAPEL. This statement of faith has its source in the Bible and is in total agreement with the foundational principles of the doctrines of Christ.
We believe that the Bible contains the inspired and infallible Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and contains every answer to man’s problems. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1: 20-21) and that Holy men of God were carried along by the Holy Spirit as they spoke the message that came from God. The Holy Bible is more than long-ago events and ancient wisdom. It is God’s message of grace and truth to us today (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).

We believe that there is only one God eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. (Ephesians 4:5-6, Gen. 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17)John 10:30; John 14:26; Philippians 2:5-7
God is Love and He loves all people. It is His desire to reach out to those who are poor, oppressed, widowed or orphaned, and to heal the brokenhearted.
Psalm 68:5,6; 1 John 4:16
We believe in the deity of Christ. (John 1: 1-4; John 10:30; Hebrews 1:1-5)
a. He was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:30-35)
b. He was conceived of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:30-35)
c. He died (John 19:30-35
d. He rose again from the dead bodily (John 20:25-29, Luke 24:36-40)
e. He ascended into heaven bodily[immortal] (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 29-30)
We believe in the deity of Christ. (John 1: 1-4; John 10:30; Hebrews 1:1-5)
- He was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:30-35)
- He was conceived of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:30-35)
- He died (John 19:30-35)
- He rose again from the dead bodily (John 20:25-29, Luke 24:36-40)
- He ascended into heaven bodily[immortal] (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 29-30)
We believe in the powerful works of the Holy and that the Holy Spirit worked with the Father and the Son to create the world. The Father gave His Spirit to enable us be of the same mind like His Son, Jesus Christ. The Jesus Christ we know in Bible History is the same now in the power of the Holy Spirit. He made a wonderful promise in John 14:16-17: “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever — the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you. “The Holy Spirit is to be with us forever.
Man is created in the image of God but separated from God by sin. Without Jesus we cannot have a relationship with God and that the only means of being cleansed from sin is repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus (Acts 3:19, Luke 24:47; Ephesians 1:7)
Genesis 1:26; 1 Timothy 2:5 We can have a personal relationship with God through salvation, God’s free gift to man. It is not a result of what we do, but it is only available through God’s unearned favor. By admitting we have sinned and believing in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, and accepting Him as Lord, we can spend eternity with God.
Ephesians 2:8,9; Romans 5:1; Romans 3:24
We believe in water baptism, as taught and demonstrated by Jesus, as the way for believers to identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
Matthew 28:19; Roma. ns 6:4; Matthew 3:13-17
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God. He helps empower the believer to develop the character of Christ and live every day in God’s will. Matthew 3:11; Acts 2:4 and that when a believer receives the Holy Ghost, he receives divine enablement for Christian service and witness.
(Acts 1: 8; 2:4; 3:1 – 26; 4:5 – 12)
We also believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost.
(Romans 15: 16; 1 Corinthians 6:11)
We also believe in speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4). All who enter into the number of the body of Christ do so because they are baptized in the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:13; Romans 8:9). When you are baptized in the Holy Spirit, God’s power will come upon you as it did on the first disciples on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4). When God’s power comes upon you, the Holy Spirit will affect everything about you. The Holy Spirit produces rivers of life, joy, love, peace and power to flow out of the believer’s spirit for the needs of others (John 7:37-38). We believe that God gives all believers spiritual gifts. They are for the strengthening of God’s people (the Church) and proof of God’s existence and power to unbelievers. The gifts of the Spirit are active and relevant today.
1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 1 Peter 4:10
We believe that regeneration and renewal of the mind by the power of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God is essential for personal salvation
(Titus 2:5, John 3:3-5, Ephesians 5:25-27, Romans 12.1-2)
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus (Acts 3:19, Luke 24:47; Ephesians 1:7) and that Sanctification is the ongoing process of allowing God’s character to be developed in us.
Romans 6:19; Galatians 5:22-25
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides divine healing for the body, salvation for the soul of everyone (spirit) that believes (1 Peter 2: 24; Acts 3: 16, Acts 9: 32 – 35) and that Divine healing is active in the lives of people today through Jesus, who is the Healer. Healing includes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual restoration.
Divine healing is the supernatural power of God bringing health to the human body. It is received by faith in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ. All the punishment Jesus Christ received before and during His crucifixion was for our healing – spirit, soul and body. By His stripes, we are healed. Divine healing was included in the benefits that Jesus Christ bought for us at Calvary.
Luke 9:11; Matthew 9:35; Acts 10:38; Matthew 10:1
The Bible describes hell as a real place. It is a place of suffering and a place of permanent separation from God for those who die without accepting Christ. God’s desire is that no one be separated from Him for eternity, which is why He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth.
Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:12-15; John 3:16-18
We believe in the Church and the Second coming of Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 29-30) and in the final resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the former to eternal life and the latter to eternal judgment (Revelations 20: 11 – 15; 1 Corinthians 15: 12 – 23)and that Jesus will return and take all those who have accepted Him as Savior to be with Him for eternity.
Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; Hebrews 9:28
Salvation is to be set free from sin and its penalties and is received by faith in the cleansing power of the Blood of Jesus Christ. Each man has to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior; otherwise Jesus’ death will not save him. Romans 8.1
The Lord’s Supper as was celebrated by Jesus Christ and His disciples in Matthew 26:26-28,” As the disciples of old were instructed to partake of the Lord’s Supper by Jesus Christ, we also partake of the Lord’s Supper (2 Peter 1:4), upon the instruction of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:10; 11:26-31).
We believe that every Born again child of God Must be completely Delivered from Demonic possession and then be empowered by the Holy spirit to stand strong against the same Demonic oppression so as to attain his/her maximum potential in the enhancement of God’s Kingdom. Ephesians 6.12, 13, James 4.7
